We hired Belfor to investigate possible moisture in a crawl space connected to a property we wanted to acquire. The assignment was to take a sample from the rafter bottom for submission to a laboratory. We also wanted Belfor to send a cost estimate for approval before the work was done, which was not done. The end result: no sampling of the rafter bottom and an invoice for the job that was then sent to Intrum Justitia. I work in sales myself and am incredibly surprised that a company can conduct business in this way.
